Finding a Ceremony Location

Krista and Brodie traveled from Kansas for their Rocky Mountain National Park elopement. They went back and forth about locations, but Estes Park has always been special to Krista so they decided on Estes in September and were successful in securing a permit for a 3M Curve elopement ceremony in Rocky Mountain National Park.

The date was set and they planned a full day of adventures in the mountains around their designated ceremony time. They invited a handful of family members to join them at their ceremony and for a simple picnic and cake afterward. The two of them wanted their focus to be on just being together the whole day.

Getting Ready at Fall River

Their September elopement day finally arrived and their photographer met them at their rented condo at Fall River Village Resort for getting-ready photos. After helping get things set with hair and makeup, they were on their way to a first look and unforgettable adventures in the park. Krista and Brodie had a sweet first look at their condo by the river and then spent the rest of the morning exploring some new trails on the Fall River side of Rocky Mountain National Park.

When it was time for their ceremony, they traveled to 3M Curve to join their closest people. Longs Peak towered in the background as they committed to one another and it was the most beautiful moment.

Hidden Valley and Trail Ridge Road

Following the ceremony, they invited their family to join them for a picnic at Hidden Valley. It was such a laid-back time filled with love and laughter. They cut the cake, signed their marriage license, toasted to the future and then they were on their way for sunset on Trail Ridge Road. As they slowly made their way up the winding, alpine road light filtered through the pine trees until finally, they were above the tree line and witnessed a stunning sunset. They rock-hopped and soaked in the top-of-the-world views as a newly married couple. Simply breathtaking.
