Acadia National Park, Maine — Marie and Sean’s intimate elopement in Acadia National Park was full of pure joy from the first moment to the last. The morning began with getting ready at Under Canvas Acadia, where Marie shared an emotional first look with Sean outside their glamping tents before heading into the park for their ceremony.
At sunset, they exchanged vows on a dramatic cliffside surrounded by their families. After, Marie and Sean shared hugs and laughter with their guests, then explored the cliffs together for portraits before heading back to Bar Harbor for dinner.
What made this wedding different from other elopements we’ve photographed is the intention these two put into it. They weren’t just getting married because that was the next step. The decision came because they were so excited to spend their lives together. They chose to invite family, not because they felt obligated to, but because they genuinely wanted to celebrate this experience with them. Every decision was made with a purpose, and as a result, the day felt stress-free, relaxed, and exactly what they had envisioned.
