Do you know what it feels like to have a perfect collaboration? Well with this Cedar Rose Estate styled shoot designed and directed by Irene + Co Events, we are so proud of the team that was put together. Our vision was to create an equestrian tribute to Fall.
As Irene Katzias assembled a team to fulfill this vision of fall, every step of the process was a collaborative conversation that allowed magic to happen in the room. After 8 years as a wedding planner, Irene has planned weddings all over the country including New York, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Utah to name a few. Irene values design and passion when working with all her brides. This styled shoot was no exception.
Cedar Rose Estates is a new venue in Utah that is attracting many couples looking for a luxury weekend escape. Recently opening in Spring of 2023, Irene had been pulling inspiration from this property for months. The newly built barn is perfect for a 200-person wedding accompanied by the large estate that sleeps 120! This unique newly renovated property was the perfect backdrop to inspire an equestrian fall design. When developing the design and concept for this styled shoot, Irene knew Forevermore Films was the perfect partner to capture this day. International photographer, Brad Winegar jumped at the idea of a collaboration.
Offering photography and videography, Brad and his team offer stunning coverage of weddings and events. With a dramatic and bold style, knowledge of lighting, and a never-ending bag of tricks – Brad captured and edited this styled shoot perfectly. From the beginning, the design was rustic, fall, with an elevated comfort feel. Polite Paper created beautifully hand-crafted invitations with wood envelopes and custom wax seals. For an equestrian fall shoot, our good friends over at The Prancing Pony were able to provide theatrically trained horses for our models Kaytlin and James. Riding into the sunset and stopping for a craft cocktail at The Prancing Pony’s mobile bar enhanced the possibilities of this venue. When it came to the table designs, Irene gathered her A team to inspire a whimsical Fall reception. Rachel Osguthorpe from Jolley Florals brought Irene’s design to life. With carefully curated blooms that were all locally sourced, the beauty of Utah Fall came to life.
With the bright orange and pink florals paired with deep rich linens from BBJ La Tavola, the reception felt intimate and lively. In addition to event rentals from Legacy Rentals, pulling the table all together were specialty rentals from Make a Scene. Make a Scene is a Southern Utah specialty picnic and rental company. They are perfect for a private bridal brunch the morning of or after the wedding. The detail-oriented design paired with 5 star quality catering led by Maria Simpson will leave you wanting more every time you dine. From head to toe, models Kaytlin Ann Tingey Green and James Green were outfitted beautifully.
Hair and Makeup was designed and executed by Austin Mark in the bridal suite of your dreams at Cedar Rose Estates. Bell Tower Bridal and Boutique outfitted our bride in a gorgeous Maggie Sorento gown fit for a princess. Designer bridal cowgirl boots designed by MIA Shoes. And to top the look off, hand-painted cowgirl hats by local artist Gery Magdiel of Floozy's Originals which can be found at Campin' Cowgirl Clothing Co. The groom was fitted in a custom-designed suite by Chic-Gents. The day was stunning for this Cedar Rose Estate styled shoot, and every moment was filled with so much magic and detail. We hope our passion for weddings inspires others to dream big and apply our ideas to their own wedding.
