Praj and Anurag’s foggy Big Sur engagement session took place at one of the most beautiful locations in California, the incredible Big Sur Coastline.

Their photographer, Julia Goldberg, said that when they first arrived at Big Sur it was the foggiest that she had ever seen the coastline.

They could barely even see the huge rocks right off the coast. They decided to spend the day exploring the cliffs before they headed down to see the stunning, blooming calla lilies in the valley. By the time they hiked back up to the cliffs for sunset, the fog had dissipated and left them with the most beautiful and soft sunset light.

Something that makes Big Sur such a popular and unique location is the variety of landscapes it offers. Many couples love the dramatic coastline, with its towering cliffs, expansive ocean views, and relaxing beaches. But just a short drive away there is an ancient redwood forest with towering trees. Add to that the rolling hills and meadows that can be filled with wildflowers like these calla lilies, and you have a magical location!
