This snowy Sapphire Point elopement started at 6:30 AM with a hike up the mountain through snow and rocks. Once they made it up to the Glacier, Rebecca, and Jeffery got dressed separately for their first look.
Jeffery got dressed first and had small details like a turkey feather bow tie and mountain peak socks to top off his attire. Once Rebecca changed into her elegant wedding dress, they shared an unforgettable first look. The wind was blowing just enough to fill her dress and show all of its details. After the first look, they made a short hike to the shoreline of the glacier lake and exchanged their handwritten vows with each other. The Glacier still full of snow and the lake partially frozen made a perfect backdrop for the moment.
After exchanging vows, they shared a beautiful moment soaking up their love for each other. They made use of a perfectly placed log to enjoy some morning mimosas and a few laughs before making the hike back down the mountain.
They made their way to Breckinridge to continue the special day with more photos before the family ceremony. After three additional epic photo stops, and congratulatory comments from the random spectator, they made their way to Sapphire Point for the ceremony with close friends and family.
The ceremony had some traditional elements to it. The bride’s dad walked her down the aisle, Jeffery’s daughter was the flower girl, and Jeffery’s best friend was their officiant. During the ceremony, there were some unexpected guests… a family of chipmunks! It was the perfect ending for their elopement adventure.
