Capitol Reef National Park, Utah — Brooke and Jake’s southwestern Capitol Reef inspiration elopement was all about connection. They woke before dawn and watched the desert sky as they shared private vows beneath the towering cliffs of Capitol Reef National Park.

Team Collaboration

This was a styled elopement that the photographer dreamed up, planned, and photographed herself. Florals were designed by Desert Rose Creative and the photographer’s husband, George. The Traveling Officiant guided the ceremony with so much heart.

Perfect Moments in Capitol Reef

Their home base was Sage House at the Cabins at Capitol Reef. It’s a dreamy, modern cabin nestled just outside the park entrance. With its cozy interior, clean light, and canyon views, it was the perfect space to get ready before stepping into the wild.

From quiet moments writing vows in the early morning light to golden hour portraits among blooming desert wildflowers, every part of this elopement felt right. The focus wasn’t on perfection, but on presence. If you’re dreaming of an elopement that’s earthy, intimate, and full of natural beauty, Capitol Reef in spring is pure magic.
