This stunning gallery came to us from the photographer, Niki Baldwin. Zion always holds a special place in our hearts, and galleries like this certainly show why. The couple themselves had this to say about the big day...
Maggie and I both knew we didn’t want a traditional wedding. It was something we talked about early on in our relationship. We felt our love was to be shared with those closest to us rather than it being a grand gesture. After I proposed in Yellowstone, we knew we wanted to get married in another National Park.
We made a list of about ten different parks and narrowed them down one by one until we were set on Zion! It had everything we wanted from the scenery to the colors. And the best part was Niki was close by so she could photograph our most special day!
The original plan was to hold the ceremony at Timber Creek Overlook at Kolob Canyons. But Mother Nature had other plans. The road was wiped out by a landslide so we got started on Plan B. With Niki’s help we were able to plan and hold the ceremony at an off grid location for Ziny Tiny Getaway. Getting ready in the tiny homes really added to the outdoorsy aspect we were striving for.
After saying “I do,” we drove into Zion with Niki and Kalina for a few hikes and some breathtaking views. We are so thankful to these two ladies as well as Maggie’s make-up artist, hair stylist, and our florist!
