Photographer Kylie Farmer shared this with us about this snowy winter elopement in Zion National Park: "I met Allie and Trenton at their friend's wedding in Arkansas, where they told me they were interested in eloping out west somewhere! They decided on Zion National Park, and off we went to capture their love among the giant cliffs and rocks! The couple opted for a sunrise vow exchange, to which we were mega surprised with snow! After we finished photographing that morning, we went to brunch and met again at sunset to hike out to the iconic Canyon Overlook Trail for photos. While we were there it snowed on us again."

Zion National Park, which is located in the heart of southern Utah, transforms into a winter wonderland with occasional snowfall, typically from November to March. When it snows the red rock formations and towering cliffs become magical under a blanket of snow. While snow doesn't happen every day during those months, when it does fall, it adds a touch of extra magic to the park. Hiking trails become pathways through a snowy paradise, offering hikers a chance to experience Zion's sights in a new way. Whether it's a light dusting or a significant snowfall, each winter there is always the chance of seeing a coating of snow on the red rocks!
