After officially saying “I do” at a Las Vegas wedding chapel dressed to the studs in western cowgirl suits, Alexis and Dana made the trip to Rockville, Utah with their closest family members and friends for their 1920s-inspired Zion Red Rock Villa wedding. Here the group would enjoy nearby Zion National Park and other activities amongst the beautiful red rock of Southern Utah.
On the Saturday of their wedding, the two brides were gifted with a beautiful sky with white pillowy clouds despite having rain in the forecast earlier in the week. Alexis envisioned her wedding to be a classy and exquisite affair put on by the likes of Jay Gatsby himself. Her dress, procured from Runway to the Circus in Las Vegas, was reminiscent of a 1920’s era flapper dress. Dana chose to wear a striking green suit fitted with a beautiful white floral brooch that she designed herself. Their guests got the memo and were dressed in extravagant dresses, suits, & furs.
The couple had their ceremony betwixt two towering mesas, letting nature provide the design. The brides wanted to take a shot with their guests, having a single shooter at each seat. After everyone raised their shot in the air, the couple said, “I do,” kissed, and then paraded down the aisle with great exclamation.
The rest of the day was filled with stimulating conversations, great wine, and uninhibited dancing. It was truly an elegant and classy Gatsby-esque affair!
