Southern Utah Red Rock Intimate Elopement with Family

Southern Utah — Julia and Thomas traveled from the East Coast to get married in Utah. While traveling across the country, they decided that getting married in the Utah desert was perfect for them! They had originally inquired about getting married in Zion National Park, but getting married inside the park has challenges. That is why they decided to have a Southern Utah red rock intimate elopement with family. It provided them with the views they loved and was less restrictive.

Cold Pizza, Beer, and Family

At the very end of the evening, as the sun was setting and the clouds were turning pink, Julia and Thomas ran to their car to get chilled beer and cold pizza. They set up a blanket on the same rock that they had just hours before said, "I do”. They immediately realized that even though this cheap, cold pizza was not actually that tasty, they were starving! The point of this moment was not taste, it was to show who they are as a couple!

Incorporating activities into your day

It's always a great idea to include some kind of activity as a part of your elopement experience. When you aren’t worried about what other people’s expectations are of your day, you’re free. You can sit down and brainstorm what would scream, "THIS IS US”! For these two, the answer to that question was simple. They invited their closest family and friends to explore parts of the country they hadn't been to yet. They got all dressed up and celebrated with champagne, beer, pizza, and a first dance in the Southern Utah desert!
