One of the biggest rules when it comes to eloping here is “Your day, your way.” Hailing from Scotland, Joanne and Paul met at work in 2013. They flirted for a few weeks before he mustered up the courage to ask her for a drink, and the rest, as they say, is history! When they started planning their wedding, they knew they wanted something that really reflected them. Their personal sunrise elopement at Seven Magic Mountains was the perfect fit!
Joanne said about their elopement, “The trip we're taking is a gift I gave him for his 50th birthday (he's into aliens so we're sort of doing an alien tour of the US!) and we wanted to get married away from home and everyone we know, as we just want him and I to be able to enjoy the moment and celebrate our love together.”
Their elopement day started bright and early at 5:00 AM in the parking lot of Seven Magic Mountains. The biggest benefit of a sunrise elopement at this location is the lack of people that are there at that time. These two said their vows, and celebrated with some photos in the desert as the sun rose in the sky.
